So last night I was in the baking mood. I was CRAVING some pecans from bass pro shop and was NOT about to drive forty minutes to get them. So I whip out some pecans, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon and then I realized I had no eggs! Ugh!
For those of you that don’t know, egg whites are used to make the sugar and all that good shit stick to the pecans.
So what did I use instead? Honey.
Worked amazing!!! And everyone devoured them.
Successful I would say, except for the fact that I have no pecans to munch on right now :(
I’m not really good at recipes. When asked how much of this do you put in this? I’m like whattt I just threw some of that shit in there i don’t know!!! I’m a pro at eye-ballin.
Amazing Pecan Recipe:
2 cups pecans
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbp cinamon
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbp honey
like I said I eyeballed it, this is roughly what I remember
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix sugar, cinnamon, vanilla in a bowl. Add Pecans and mix well. Then add honey and mix even more until all the sugar has stuck to the pecans. throw them bitches on a pan and stick them in the oven for about 10 mins. When done, Let them cool for about five. Voila!!!! Heaven on earth.
